1. Who we are

Good Code (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a design and engineering studio. This privacy policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information about visitors to goodcode.us and clients who engage our services.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly (for example, your name, company, and email when you contact us about working together) and limited technical information collected automatically when you visit our website (such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referrer URL).

We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising cookies on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy and add a consent layer where required by law.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to respond to inquiries, deliver services we have been engaged to provide, operate and improve our website, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the business (for example, email infrastructure, project tooling), under contractual confidentiality terms, and where required by law.

5. Your rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have rights regarding your personal information under GDPR, UK GDPR, and the CCPA / CPRA respectively, including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, and (where applicable) port your data. To exercise these rights, email us at hello@goodcode.us.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy and to satisfy our legal and accounting obligations.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage is ever fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top.
